Autumn exhibition
In the coming months we will be presenting the work of various photographers during our autumn exhibition. For example, you can admire work from our regular photographers Ana Priscila Rodriguez, Koos Hageraats or Patrick Richmond Nicholas.
Moreover, we are very happy that we have managed to attract none other than Dana Marshall for the gallery this fall. This award-winning artist, originally from New York City, has lived and worked in Bussum for many years.
She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography in New York in 1985 and then studied at the Royal Academy of Visual Arts in Amsterdam.
Since then, she has built up an extensive oeuvre that can now be found in the collections of The Tate Gallery in London, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London; the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco as well as in various private collections.
The common thread in her work is the beauty of imperfection and impermanence. Dana is moved by color, texture, detail and interconnectness. Over the years she has developed a unique visual language based on curiosity and tenderness.
We are very pleased that Dana agreed talk about her work in person on October 28, during the Saturday Art Drinks. A number of her artworks will also be exhibited.
You are very welcome from 4:00 pm. Dana will start her talk at 4:30 pm. Please register below so we can take you into account for drinks and snacks.
